Chai Body Scrub

Add essential oils to the hazelnut oil and shake well. Combine sugar and cinnamon, pour hazelnut mixture over the top. Mix ingredients completely. Store in a glass jar…and don’t forget to add a label!

  • 3/4c granulated or raw turbinado sugar

  • 2oz Hazelnut oil

  • Powdered cinnamon to scent and color

  • 12 drops vanilla essential oil

  • 5 drops ginger essential oil

  • 4 drops cardamom essential oil

Oatmeal Milk Bath

Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl. This mixture can be prepared and stored in a glass jar. Add 1/2 to 1 cup to a muslin bag with the 2tbsp of cocoa butter. Add to your warm bath and enjoy.

  • 1/2c powdered buttermilk

  • 1/2c ground oatmeal

  • 1/4c epsom salt

  • 1Tbsp flower petals of your choice (we love calendula)

  • 2tbsp cocoa or shea butter

  • muslin bag (optional)

Uplifting Winter Tea:

Combine all herbs. Add 1Tbsp per 1cup of freshly boiled water. Steep 20 minutes, strain, and enjoy. We recommend 2-3 cups daily!

  • 2p lemonbalm

  • 2p oatstraw

  • p nettle

  • 1/2p elderberry

  • 1/4p elderflower

  • 1/4p rosehips

  • pinch of licorice root or cinnamon

Honey Lip Salve

Combine oil, wax and butter in a double boiler (or a pyrex cup inside of a pan will work too). Use low heat until all ingredients are melted and mixed. Add honey and stir in completely. Rather than essential oils you can add some cinnamon powder to the mix for an extra yummy treat. Pour the combined mixture into containers of your choice and let cool completely.

  • 3 tsp Almond Oil

  • 2 tsp beeswax

  • 1/2 tsp raw honey

  • 1/2 tsp shea butter

Elderberry Syrup

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over low heat. Simmer until liquid is reduced by half. Strain herbs. Add your honey, stirring until completely mixed with the liquid. Add brandy, and voila, elderberry syrup! We like 1 tsp a day to keep the cold and flu away.

  • 4c water

  • 1c elderberries

  • ½c rosehips

  • 1/8c cinnamon

  • 1/8c ginger

  • 1 vanilla bean (scored) or 1tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 oz. Brandy

  • 1c of honey ~ bottle & cool before sealing
