Kristin Schuch, MSN,APRN,FNP-C,CHT

Kristin (She/They), Community Partner and Creatrix at Apothecary Tinctura, was born and raised in Colorado. As an Herbalist, Ritualist, and Holistic Health Practitioner for almost two decades, Kristin began learning earth medicine from her grandparents as a child. Her love of wild landscapes and passion for wellness makes her a fierce advocate for environmental justice, health equity, and the decolonization of medicine systems. It is her goal to create safe space for individuals to be curious, heal, reclaim ancestral knowing, and experience greater wholeness. Her passion is weaving modern knowledge with traditional wisdom, whether in sessions with clients, classes or workshops, apprenticeships, and retreats she offers. Kristin is an herbalist and Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in integrative health.

Kristin offers Maya Abdominal Therapy, as trained in the Maya lineage of Miss Beatrice Torres Waight, Holistic Pelvic CareTM as created and taught by Tami Lynn Kent, and is a Certified Hypnotherapist. She is a Seidkona as taught in the Old Norse Ways by Imelda Almqvist, and is an intuitive medium. 

Kristin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science & Anthropology, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Arts Degree in International Relations, and a Master of Science in Nursing.

Brett Cook, Medicine Maker

Originally from Portland Oregon, Brett has been a principal partner and creator at Apothecary Tinctura since it first opened in 1997. Formally trained as a brewer at the Siebel Institute in Chicago, he originally planned to focus on opening a brewery. He soon found that his love for the scientific process of extracting, blending, and small-batching crafting worked just as well for making the teas, tinctures, and herbal products that are the foundation of Apothecary Tinctura. Brett also trained as an aromatherapist through the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy with Kurt Schnaubelt and helps ensure the quality and sustainability of our essential oil products. He loves sharing his knowledge and love of plant by teaching Advanced Medicine Making and offering seasonal tree medicine walks.

Marian Rose, LMT, CH

Marian Rose brings over 30 years of experience in the healing arts to Apothecary Tinctura. She creates peaceful sessions that allow clients to experience release and relaxation, facilitating a return to wholeness for a sometimes fragmented body or soul. Her greatest gift is the integration of physical and energetic medicine into healing sessions. Trained in therapeutic, neuromuscular, oncology, lymphatic, lomi lomi, prenatal and Thai massage, she is skilled at infusing treatments with focused, balanced and truly customized body work. Shamanic healing, Reiki, Traditional Spiritual Healing, Bioenergetics, and chakra medicine are infused seamlessly into healing sessions to create powerful energetic and spiritual rebalancing. Specializing in Maya abdominal massage, Marian offers safe nourishing space for women to explore and unfold into their most rich vital selves during any phase of their journey. Around the shop you might hear her referred to as the "baby whisper", she has a special love and talent in caring for those cultivating fertility and preparing for birth.  

Nancy Nelson, Reiki Master, Intuitive Tarot Reader, Herbalist

After the passing of her mother, Nancy found herself lost and bumbling through life. This is when she discovered Reiki. It had such a profound effect upon her, she began studying and practicing this sacred art herself. Wanting to share this life changing resource with others, Nancy became a Reiki Master and Teacher.

Nancy has a very grounding and nurturing energy that allows her clients to feel safe and held during her healing sessions. She works intuitively and will incorporate plant energies, crystal allies, and sound into her sessions as needed.

While dabbling with tarot since her teen years, Nancy became serious about her studies and understanding of this divination tool five years ago and offers intuitive readings that give the client insight and hope.

Mimi Starr Brough

Mimi was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, where their early childhood was calcined under the Mojave Sun, they were raised by the badlands of Northern Wyoming in a small town near Yellowstone, and have been living deliciously in Denver since 2015. She has been a devotee of Buddhism and Hermeticism since adolescence, having a deep love for the occult and esoteric. Her philosophical interests have brought her to cultivating the ability to communicate with plant spirits and pursuing a life sharing herbal medicine with the world.

Mimi is a green witch, an advocate for mental health treatment, a shadow worker, and a student at Herbalism Roots learning from Kimberly Thompson and Martin Hansen. Mimi is also a tropical plant specialist, where she owns her own business called Starrseed, that provides houseplant services to the Denver-area. Her goals are to help make herbal medicine accessible to BIPOC and underserved communities by starting a clinical practice, teaching classes on astrology and alchemy, and leading plant-sitting ceremonies. She is passionate about helping people transform their trauma into strength and compassion with the help of our herbal allies.

hannah haddadi (they/them)

Hannah is a nonbinary death witch, trained death doula, community herbalist, spoken word poet, writer, and owner of business Mourning Light Divination. Graduating from Metropolitan State University with a degree in Integrative Health and Human services, Hannah combines their degree knowledge, background, lived experiences, ancestry, and path in magic and divination to connect with their work in ritual, transformation, death, and rebirth.

Hannah has received copious amounts of education about and around spirituality, shamanistic practices within their lineages, soul retrievals, dismemberments, witchcraft, and so much more while working with and alongside with Kristin Schuch, Marian Rose, Rebekah Adams, Rachel Jensen, and other brilliant and gifted spiritual workers, witches, herbalists, and wise women. In their own personal spiritual practice, Hannah continues to work with plants and herbs physically and spiritually, believing that plants, the natural world, and sacred death are our ultimate teachers and mentors in this life. Hannah is a bridge to their Persian, Swedish, German, and English ancestry,  coming from hard working farmers, mystics, witches, root workers, famous palm readers, tailors, street fighters, tea leaf readers, and people who always fought for what they believed in, no matter what the cost. Hannah believes that ancestral practice is key to spirituality, craft, and their life’s work, learning on their ancestors and learning from them everyday.
