Spirit of Nature Retreat | Cañones, New Mexico

Thursday September 14th -Sunday September 17th 2023

Journey with us to the sacred and wild land of our New Mexico retreat space. Enjoy the beauty of this valley carved by lava flows and natural springs, as you steep yourself in the elements of water, fire, earth, and air. Sit with the plants, the trees, stones, and animal wisdom, as you are guided into deeper and direction connection with nature. You will be invited to lean into a safe, supported, and dynamic spirit-led experience.

Each morning will begin with an opening circle followed by a brief teaching and experiential learning before going out onto the land. You will spend time on the land in contemplation, curiosity, and whatever else may unfold. This time is intended to nurture your remembrance and to support your personal communication with the elements and nature spirits. After lunch we will gather for another experiential session and sitting out with the land. Ample time for rest, exploration, or healing sessions (must be pre-arranged) is built into each day. Evenings are reserved for ritual and evening circle.

We know that this type of retreat invites vulnerability and emotions to come up. Space will be held for you to navigate and experience any comfort, discomfort, joy, sorrow, healing, dis-ease, creation, destruction, frustration, peace, or anything else that may arise. However, this retreat is meant to help you know and trust your own healing process & spiritual guidance. Facilitators will not interfere or engage in healing work with you unless pre-arranged.

The Lands of the Ancestors

You are the child of many. All those that walked the path ahead of you, the imprint of their experiences, the myths, the magic, the mistakes, this is the legacy that you carry, and that carries you. It dwells deep and rich in your bones, the marrow of your make-up, in all ways, always. These journeys carry us to different places to learn & honor the history, respectfully experience the living traditions & people, remember and reconcile lineage, and to restore our mind/body/spirit connections to the Lands of Origins & Ancestors.

Women's Medicine Retreats

The Wild Woman rises within you. She yearns to be healed, to be whole, to be free. Your Divine feminine searches for her path, her purpose; she seeks community and deep meaningful connection, not to anyone, but to everything. She knows that when she sits in circle and practices ceremony, when she intentionally connects to sisterhood, the earth, the moon, the plants, the elements and spirit within all things...she sits fully in the medicine and power of her true self. This Wild creature, beautiful spirit, sacred being is ready to be nurtured; she asks for nothing more than the chance to BE.
