In this class we will learn to make Herbal Glycerites, aka glycerine extracts, using fresh plant material. We will do this using Organic food-grade vegetable glycerine to extract the active constituents and flavor from Stinging Nettle, a beloved Spring Tonic! An advantage of glycerites is that they are sweet and easy to take as well as being a valuable means to extract and preserve the phytonutrients. They are great for children or those who want an alcohol-free herbal solution. Each participant will take home 30mL of Nettle glycerite, with all materials included. We will also dive into how to deepen your connection & ongoing relationship with the plant allies. I look forward to sharing this medicine with you!
