Have you ever wished you could be on a long stroll with an herbalist/botanist who could help you learn to identify medicinal plants in our beautiful Rocky Mountain region? Some of the deepest healing possible comes through our connection with nature. Enhance your understanding of your local plants and ecosystems by going on this nerdy hike where you learn basics of plant identification, ecology, and wildcrafting ethics. We will plan to hike 3-5 miles, with frequent stops to discuss the local flora. Please note that we will be talking about medicinal plants on this trip, not harvesting them. We will meet at 10am to carpool and will plan to be out until late afternoon.
