Thank you for your interest in our class offerings. We offer a little something for everyone, and a truly unique experience. It is our goal to provide you with the information and experience that inspires your passion for natural healing & plant medicine, enhances your sense of community and encourages your desire to integrate wellness into your life. Here are a few things to know when you come to class:

  • Bring a mug...we are always brewing tea & love to share it with you
  • We like to show, taste, test, try, make, and otherwise help you experience plants, oils, teas, tinctures, or whatever we might be discussing. And don't forget samples to take home!
  • You receive 10% of any shopping the night of a class, so feel free to pick-up your supplies and keep the fun going at home.
  • Drop-ins are welcome, but pre-registeration is encouraged, as class sizes are limited.

Community Classes 

Herbs for Relaxation, Sleep & Dreaming
Tuesday November 4th

Wondering why you aren’t sleeping well & what you can do about it? We will investigate common herbs to help you to relax, fall asleep, stay asleep, and sleep deeply so that you can have an improved dreaming and waking life.

Introduction to Tincture Making
Wednesday November 5th
Learn how to do easy macerations & percolations, which herbs should be tinctured fresh, dry, or not at all, and simple ways to create the perfect ratios for your very own tinctures!

Introduction to Essential Oils & Aromatherapy

Whether you want to know how to make beautiful aromatherapy blends or you want to begin to understand the deeper healing properties & qualities of essential oils, this class is for you! We will smell, experience and make a simple blend to take home.

Women’s Night Out – Spa Party
Friday November 14th

Get your skin ready for the winter transition and learn to give yourself a fabulous at-home facial while you’re at it. We may get a little messy, but we will be creating healthy beautiful skin while we do it.

Family Herbal Medicine Chest
Thursday November 13th
Learn how to create a family herbal medicine chest that will have you prepared for all the cold, flu & belly bugs. We will discuss the herbs you need and how to prepare them to keep your family well!

Lip Balm & Salve Making
Tuesday December 2nd

Salves are a great introduction into the wonderful world of plant medicine! Come learn how to make basic medicinal salves using easy to work with ingredients. We’ll cover topics like inflammation and arthritis, eczema, skin rashes, bug bites and stings, sore muscles, and more!

Herbal Cocktails & Hangover Remedies
Tuesday December 9th

Sip on tantalizing libations while learning how to add your favorite herbs to your favorite cocktail! Recipes will include such delicious creations as: Infused Liqueurs, Bitters, Simple Syrups, Cordials & Elixirs…and what to do if you have one too many.

Introduction to Lotion Making
Monday December 15th

Spice up those cold winter nights and bring holiday cheer to your friends and family with homemade lotions and creams sure to soften even the roughest scrooge. Using pure flower waters and exquisite essential oils, we will learn to make perfect body care lotions & potions batch after batch.

Herbal Alchemy & Medicine Making
Wednesday December 17th

Making seasonal teas, honey medicines, syrups & elixirs is easy, fun & delicious. We will make and sample various remedies, and at the end everyone will take home a1oz. Elderberry syrup and a honey blend.

Nurturing Your Spiritual Heart 
Thursday January 8th

In this class we will delve into the realm of loving your true being, as well as how you can get back in contact with, and nurturing your spiritual heart. Topics include herbal and lifestyle approaches, and the last 30 minutes will be a time set aside for focusing intention and visualization. Bring a blanket and a pillow

Introduction to Fermentation

We all know by now that eating fermented foods is a great way to get your daily dose of the friendly micro flora that our bellies love. After in-class demos & recipes you’ll be excited to get started!

Exquisite Essential Oils & Botanical Perfumes - PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE
Wednesday November 12th

Essential oils possess a depth and complexity that synthetic fragrance can’t capture. Learn the elements of blending perfume balms, sprays, and rollers for your own body chemistry & sensory pleasure. This class is hands-on. Each participant will make 2-3 oil blends of their very own!

Women’s Wisdom Circle
Every Third Tuesday October thru April
6:30 – 8:30pm
Delve deep into the wisdom of your body, mind & spirit. Explore the energies of various archetypes and how the influence our experience of the day-to-day. Learn about spirit medicine tools, energy healing, your own intuitive gifts, as you experience the sacred space created by women. Participants must pre-register. Women’s Wellness Day Retreat
4 Saturdays: October 25th, January 24th, April 25th, July 18th

Connect to the sacred and receive the fullness of women’s spirit medicine. Spend the day gathering plants, enjoying plant-brushings, medicine-making, or other healing modalities perfect for the season. This is a perfect time to restore & rejuvenate your body, mind & spirit!

Holiday Head-to-Toe

Get creative this year at our Holiday Head-to-Toe Party! We will eat, drink & make gifts to bathe, soothe and spoil anyone on your holiday list.  From top to bottom you will blend invigorating soaks, luscious body oils, infused liqueurs & more! Each attendee will leave with 3-5 items ready to wrap-up and gift-away! *Class size is limited, early registration is encouraged.

Pillars of Nutrition Seasonal Series

  • October 23rdThe Nourished Belly- Focus Fall:  Learn how to optimize digestion utilizing cultured foods and herbs that promote repair and beneficial flora balance.
  • January 22ndClean Foods: A Holistic Perspective- Focus Winter:  Learn how to use whole foods and holistic nutrition therapies to balance blood sugar and optimize metabolism. This workshop outlines simple habits and convenient foods that produce sustainable wellness for the newyear and beyond.  
  • April 23rdSprout into Spring with Flavors of Green- Focus Spring: Celebrate the stalks and sprouts of the season that naturally induce cleansing and renewal.
  • July 23rdThe Anti-Inflammatory Nutrition Kit- Focus Summer: Learn how chronic inflammation can lead to long term health conditions. This workshop outlines foods that decrease inflammation and promote relief from inflammatory related symptoms.

Foundation of Health (Core) Classes

Deepen your understanding of natural remedies in our foundations of health courses. Each series class helps you balance and integrate your knowledge of herbal medicine, aromatherapy & holistic healing. These courses are run throughout the year and are intended to build your knowledge base for personal & community applications.

This course is part of our herbal foundation series, and is open to herbal students of all backgrounds.  We will sample herbs in various forms & discuss:
  • Therapeutic uses of individual herbs and their effect on our different body systems. 
  • Basic Anatomy and Physiology, as it applies to understanding how herbs affect the body. 
  • Herbal remedies and preparations to create health and balance. 
  • Herbs for acute situations & first-aid, as well as the long-term use of tonic herbs.

A full sensory experience, this class is a journey into the sophisticated yet simple art of aromatherapy. Essential oils are gentle, yet powerful, tools for creating change and supporting health. In class we will learn:
